Do your goals and dreams always feel just out of reach?

If you ask someone what they want they may look and think for a bit and be able to come out with what they don’t want, but not exactly what it is they really want for themselves and in their lives.  Think about this for yourself.

A lot of times we voice what it is that we don’t want with the intention of it bringing that which we want in to our lives. Unfortunately the Universe will not hear the "don’t want", it just hears the item or feeling that we have voiced.

If you want a red car and say I don’t want a blue car, the chance is that only blue cars will come up. Same if you say I don’t want a relationship with someone who is selfish, the people who will come into your life will be the selfish ones.

To get what we want we must be clear on exactly what it is that we want and only focus on that, and thats not necessarily the opposite of our don’t wants. Think what it is exactly that you want.

Using the car analogy, I want a red Mercedes with all the options available and a pale leather interior.

This is then what you focus your attention on and the universe will hear Red Mercedes, fully optioned and pale leather interior.

When you say these words this is also what you will picture in your mind and your sub consciousness will also be hearing this.

Same when we want to have more of a particular feeling in our lives. We say what it is that we want and imagine ourselves having the feelings that go with what we want. Our conscious and sub conscious will pick up on these vibrations and we will be more inclined to see and feel these around us.

The hardest job is retraining ourselves to only focus on the positive that we want. One of the best ways to help get into this way of thinking is to surround yourself with others who are also focusing on the positives in their lives. Choose to spend time with people who will let you know when you are drifting towards the negative and loosing your focus.

As you become more aware of your thoughts and how they can affect your life will, it becomes easier to stay focused on your goals and the outcomes you want.

Count The Wins

Do you really get nothing done in a day?  Is that "To Do" list always glaring at you?

We grow up hearing what we need to do all the time.  Once one task is completed it's on to the next without a real sense of achievement.

To get from the beginning to the end of a day there are so many little things that we do and don't even notice or acknowledge that we've done them.  Though if any of these things don't happen or are only partially done, it would have a flow effect for the rest of our day.

As a mum my weekday mornings get pretty busy.  Getting my boys up, dressed, breakfasted and out the door to school on time.

Planning for 2012

? What do you want 2012 to look like? What do you want to achieve?2012 planning

When we start something new it generally takes a bit of time for our efforts to be rewarded.

If like me you want to see your goals being achieved early in 2012, now is the time to set the wheels in motion.

Think of what you want to achieve. Don't wait till January 1 to make that New Years resolution.  Think it out NOW and Write it down. Too many times I have had great plans and left them in my head; Nothing happens and it stays in the cloud of potential.

Making plans for the future doesn't have to be a huge overbearing exercise.  Some people get into writing big lists of
